Ich weiß leider noch nicht was eine Windows-Partition ist.

Ein Teilbereich deiner Festplatte, der mit einem eigenen Laufwerksbuchstaben angesteuert werden kann und wie eine separate Platte behandelt wird, als ob du zwei echte Platten in deinem PC hättest.
Wenn du nur C: hast, worauf du installieren kannst, dann ist C: deine einzige Partition.

Ändere die Zeile fullresolution=original in fullresolution=640x480 ab.

Ändere die Zeile joysticktype=auto auf joysticktype=none ab.

Ändere den Befehl -usecd 0 in -usecd 1 ab oder falls das nicht klappt, einfach weglassen.

Nachdem DOSBox gestartet ist und auf der Kommandozeile mit C:\ stehenbleibt:
- cd schweif (und mit Enter-Taste bestätigen)
- schweif (und mit Enter-Taste bestätigen)

Das Spiel sollte starten. Falls nicht, im Sternenschweif-Verzeichnis auf der Platte die Datei PATH.CFG öffnen und mir den dort eingetragenen Buchstaben mitteilen, der in deinem Fall E:\ lauten sollte.

Der Buchstabe in der PATH.CFG muss unbedingt mit dem Buchstaben in der mount-Zeile übereinstimmen, sonst findet Sternenschweif deine CD nicht.
Diese PATH.CFG wird bei jeder Installation von Sternenschweif neu angelegt, Sternenschweif merkt sich auf diese Weise, von welchem DVD-Laufwerk es aus installiert wurde (falls man mehrere DVD-Laufwerke im Rechner hat) und kann ebenfalls wie die dosbox.conf mit Notepad editiert werden, wenn notwendig.
