Kein Sound bei Schicksalsklinge unter Vista

Ich habe soeben die Schicksalsklinge unter Vista erfolgreich installiert. Bin total überrascht das ich es so einfach hinbekommen habe.

Verwende eine Image-Datei der CD Version 3.02 und verwende ausschließlich die DOSBOX.
Ich habe als Soundkarte den Sound Blaster ausgewählt. Leider wird aber keine Musik abgespielt. Habe dann auch die anderen Soundkarten probiert, leider ohne Erfolg.
Auf einem anderen Rechner mit XP funktioniert die Musik.

Welche Möglichkeit gibt es auch in Vista die Musik abzuspielen?

OK, damit gehts. Hab ich bei mir auch erfolgreich laufen. Bei der Erstellung in Nero musst du nur drauf achten, das Image im RAW-Format aufzunehmen und Fehler ignorieren zu lassen.
Das Image muss hinterher einen separaten Audioteil enthalten (die Tracks lassen sich in gewöhnlichen Audio-CD-Playern abspielen), um die Musik zu hören.

Hast du das Image erstellt, würde ich es probehalber in einen CD-Player stecken oder mit dem Windows Media Player prüfen, ob die Audiotracks verfügbar sind. Aller Voraussicht nach hat dein jetziges Image nur den Datenteil übernommen. Wie groß ist denn das Image im Moment? Mein NRG-Image hat 686.130 KB im Windows Explorer.

Anmerkung für Vista: Erstelle das Image dafür im CUE/BIN-Format, das geht definitiv. Ich hab nur XP und dort gehen auch NRG-Images.

Also der Audioteil ist drauf. Mit dem selben Image läuft es ja auch ohne Probleme unter XP.
Mein Image hat sogar eine Größe von 702 MB; wohl auch weil e isch um die Version aus der Bestsellergames handelt.

Also ich werde mal neu brennen. Habe Nero. Wo stell ich den das Format ein??

Habe leider Nero seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr drauf, aber ich glaube, dass Nero kein CUE/BIN kann. Was von Version zu Version auch verschieden sein kann. Da müsste es aber auf jeden Fall einen Expertenmodus geben, womit man mehr Optionen bekommt.

Wegen der Erstellung eines CUE/BIN-Images würde ich zu CDRWin raten, die Trial-Version im verlinkten Thread. Vista ist sehr wählerisch diesbezüglich, XP stört sich an NRG dagegen nicht.

Habe mir jetzt CDRWin runtergeladen und allerdings bekomme ich wenn die CD schon im Laufwerk liegt und ich CDRWin starte und den entsprechenden Button drücke die Fehlermeldung "No supported CDROM reader was found on the system".

Was heißt das?

Das heißt, dass CDRWin dein CD-Laufwerk nicht unterstützt bzw. nicht erkennt. Schau mal in der Kompatibilitätsliste von CDRWin nach, ob dein DVD/CD-Laufwerk dort gelistet ist.

Merkwürdig, es ist drin, aber funktioniert dennoch nicht.

Ja, gibt noch eine weitere. Wie Mav hier geschrieben hat, hat er die Probeversion von Alcohol 120% zur Image-Erstellung benutzt und es hat funktioniert. Vielleicht auch bei dir?

So habe das jetzt mal gebrannt, jetzt habe ich ja 2 Dateien, eine cue und eine bin.
Habe beide versucht über Daemontool zu starten, was auch funktioniert, allerdings auch ohne Musik. Die ist allerdings auch auf der CD, habe über Mediaplayer probiert.

Muss ich eventuell irgendwie beide gleichzeitig einbinden?

Die CUE-Datei einzubinden reicht vollkommen aus. Nur mit der CUE ist DaemonTools in der Lage, auch die Audiotracks zu lesen. Bindest du nur die BIN ein, kann DT nur den Datenteil lesen.

Hmm, wegen dem Sound: drücke im Spiel F3 und schau im Optionsmenü nach, ob Musik und Sound auch eingeschaltet sind. Muss beides auf ON stehen. Musik ist die Hintergrundmusik und Sound steht für die Kampfgeräusche.

Beides an ist an. Sound funktioniert auch, nur halt nicht die Musik.

Gibt es eventuell noch einen anderen Weg?

Ach, Unsinn. Fehler von mir. :shy: F3 kennt die Schicksalsklinge noch nicht.

Poste mir am besten mal den kompletten Inhalt der dosbox.conf hier rein, um zu sehen, wie DOSBox jetzt eingestellt ist. Ist eine Textdatei, kann man mit Notepad öffnen.

Ersetze diese Zeile durch:

imgmount f f:\riva.cue -t iso -fs iso

f:\riva.cue musst du auf den Pfad einstellen, wo deine CUE und BIN drinstehen. riva.cue ersetzt du mit dem Namen, wie deine CUE auch heißt. DaemonTools brauchst du dann nicht mehr und das sollte besser funktionieren, zumindest wird der imgmount-Befehl vom DOSBox-Team bezüglich Vista empfohlen.
usecd und ioctl fällt weg, das ist für ein Image nicht wichtig.

Damit deine Maus richtig funktioniert, ändere die Zeile

Hab eine schicksalsklinge iso datei (also endung .iso) mit format factory erstellt.
Das Spiel lässt sich installieren, es kommt aber ebenfalls kein sound und das spielt geht nicht übers intro hinaus.
scheinbare endlosschleife des letzten parts des intros.

Brauch ich die .cue datei oder könnte es auch mit .iso gehen?

Du brauchst ein Image im BIN-Format. Einbinden tust du es dann mit der CUE-Datei. :)
